Session Fees, Booking, and Cancellation Policy
What’s Included in Your Session Fee:
Consultation:
Your session fee includes a complimentary in-person consultation to plan and design your photoshoot. This consult typically lasts 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on what needs to be discussed.
Photoshoot Time:
The session fee covers the full duration of your photoshoot, including any necessary studio preparation, such as creating a set, setting up lights and backdrops, and packing or loading gear if shooting on location or outside the studio. A lot of organization happens before you even arrive. This fee guarantees my availability and ensures a smooth schedule on the day of your appointment, while also securing your commitment to the scheduled time for a seamless, professional experience.
Important:
Your session fee is non-refundable once paid.
It is recommended that you review my prices and packages before you commit to booking.
My time is valuable and reserved exclusively for you, whether or not you attend your session.
What’s Not Included:
Digital files and print products are not included in the session fee. These can be purchased separately.
Hair and makeup services are also not included but can be added for an additional fee.
What is a Digital File?
A digital file refers to a high-resolution, professionally edited image that can be purchased after your session. These files are available in JPEG format and are suitable for printing or online use.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
All session fees are due in full within 3 days of our initial correspondence. This secures your spot and ensures commitment to your appointment, allowing my schedule to run without disruptions.
If you cannot pay your sitting fee within the stipulated time frame, your session will not be confirmed.
Packages:
For packages, such as branding sessions, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, or you can opt for full payment upfront. Packages are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy:
All session fees must be paid in full and are non-refundable.
You are allowed to reschedule your appointment once, provided you do so at least 72 hours before the session.
After two cancellations, you will need to pay the sitting fee again to book a new appointment.
No-shows who make no contact will not be offered my services again.
Arriving Late:
If you're based in Invercargill, allow an additional 30 minutes to find parking and make your way to the studio as Dee and Spey Streets can be busy.
I do not have designated parking for my clients, so please plan accordingly.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session will be canceled and rescheduled.
Expectations After Your Photoshoot:
You can expect me to contact you within 6-12 days of your photo-shoot to either deliver your photos if you've booked a package or to schedule your in-person gallery reveal if you choose to just book a sitting.
In-Person Gallery Reveal:
An in-person gallery reveal is the exclusive time when you will come to the studio to view your photos.
During this session, you will select what you would like to order. I do not offer online galleries.
This is your opportunity to see your images in person and make informed decisions about prints and products.
Gallery reveal appointments on average take anything from 1-3hours / the 3hr time slot will be allocated to you when you book a gallery reveal.
Further Gallery Reveal Information:
Your first gallery reveal appointment is complimentary with your sitting. As mentioned sessions typically take 1-3 hours.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Terms

Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment once, provided you notify me at least 72 hours in advance.

Late Changes or Cancellations: If you do not give at least 72 hours' notice, there will be a charge of $200 + GST per hour to schedule a new gallery reveal.
My time is a valuable resource, and I appreciate your understanding.
Ordering & Archival Policy
I encourage clients to place their orders within 3-5 days of the gallery reveal or on the day of their gallery reveal. If no order is confirmed within 1 month of your gallery reveal, or if there is no communication during that period, your gallery may be closed and the images archived.

Archival Fee: Reloading an archived gallery incurs a fee of $180 + GST per month.
Storage After Your Order
If you purchase digital files, it is highly recommended that you make multiple copies and backups once they are delivered via your download link or on your USB drive. Computers crash, laptops fail, and USB drives can stop working—these things happen.
To safeguard your memories:

Back them up online (e.g., cloud storage).

Print them—the best way to ensure they are available for future generations.
I only keep client orders archived for up to 4-6 weeks after delivery.
Due to the cost and space required to store these files, I cannot guarantee I will retain your photos beyond this period.
If you want your digital files, it is recommended that you purchase them—I do not retain access to your photos indefinitely.
Payment for Orders:
Full payment for all orders is expected within 3 working days. No products or prints will be ordered or delivered until full payment is received.
Payment Methods:
Credit and debit card payments are accepted via the Stripe link on your invoice, or you can make a bank deposit.
No cash payments will be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
